Pakistan has started manufacturing cell phones locally and the Cabinet's Economic Co-ordination Committee (ECC) has approved the policy proposed by the Ministry of Industries and Production.
Punjab Minister for Industry and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal, while exchanging the update, said, “Made in Pakistan cell phones have now become a reality. Mobile's Faisalabad Economic Zone installation has started manufacturing smartphones, and other companies will follow soon, God willing.
He further said in the tweet that the results of the implementation of the mobile manufacturing policy led by Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Usman Bazdar are coming to light.
